The Gender and Social Inclusion Working Group: Winrock has recently launched the Gender and Social Inclusion Working Group, which brings together staff from all corners of Winrock to support delivering against our values of equity and inclusion not only in our programming, but our new business purussits and organizational culture. The GESI Working Group is a fundamental piece in delivering excellence in addressing GESI issues meaningfully and upholds a commitment to ushering in diverse voices of how we are holding ourselves accountable. The Gender and Social Inclusion Working Group is working first on updating the Gender and Social Inclusion Policy at Winrock; but will be involved as peer reviewers providing important feedback on capacity strengthening initiatives, program design strategies, workplace standards and recruitment best practices, and how to create a learning culture at Winrock. extension of AGILE’s support to Winrock and serves as a multi-faceted channel that contribute to how holistic integration of GESI issues not only in our programming, but our new business pursuits and our organizational development. The Gender and Social Inclusion Working Group is interested in putting forward resources and organizing webinars to deepen our awareness and understanding of effective approaches to promote LGBTQIA+ inclusivity across our diverse portfolio and is committed to fostering dialogue on these important topics.
