Stephen W. Edwards

Steve Edwards is the owner and president of GES, Inc., which owns and operates Food Giant supermarkets. He is a managing partner in several enterprises, including EDPROP Development Co., LLC, Edwards Rentals, and Tobacco Warehouse, LLC. In addition to serving on the Winrock Advisory Council, he is currently the commissioner of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the commissioner for the Marianna Economic Development Commission, chairman of the Lee County-Marianna Airport Commission, and the Arkansas Good Roads Council. Additionally, he is on the board of directors for the Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation in Memphis, Tenn., the Community Foundation of Lee County, and the Arkansas State University Foundation. Edwards was named a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International, the 2002 Citizen of the Year for Marianna-Lee County, and a Distinguished Alumni by ASI in 2004. Edwards received a bachelor’s of science in management from Arkansas State University.
