Jennifer Snow, Director of Agriculture and Volunteer Programs and Program Director for Winrock’s Farmer-to-Farmer programs, has two decades of experience in management and leadership roles, including 16 years at Winrock in both the New Business Services Unit (NBSU) and on the Agriculture and Enterprise team. This includes over a decade of work on the Farmer-to-Farmer program in various roles, starting as a volunteer and now as the program director. She has designed and implemented numerous tools and processes to ensure effective and efficient implementation of international volunteer assignments and directly built the capacity of F2F host organizations, partners and staff in Latin America, Asia and Africa to effectively leverage volunteers to achieve strong impacts. As a former program associate, program officer and director of NBSU (2002-2007), Jen developed Winrock’s first comprehensive set of processes and training for major proposals and supervised 13 staff within the NBSU to provide proactive new business and proposal development support to program teams. Under her leadership, the span of NBSU services significantly increased, Winrock’s early capture efforts tripled, and Winrock grew from $20-30 million in annual new business revenue to $70 million in 2007. She currently oversees $95 million in international projects as the associate director of agriculture and volunteer programs and the program director for Winrock’s Farmer-to-Farmer programs. She also leads capture and proposal teams to prepare quality competitive proposals for various donors, with a high track record of success. Snow has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Denver.
