Value-added Agriculture and Increasing Local Income

  • Introduce new marketing strategies, high-value products, or value-added advancements to generate greater income for agricultural producers and processors.
  • Offer technical assessments, feasibility studies, and cooperative development to improve planning and implementation of projects and creation of small enterprises.
  • Initiate approaches for energy crop production and feasibility studies to create jobs and new income streams for rural farmers and residents.


Integrating Energy and the Environment

  • Act as the Arkansas Clean Cities Coalition host organization to reduce petroleum consumption in Arkansas.
  • Provide technical assistance through feedstock evaluation, and feasibility and clean-energy activities for municipalities.
