Global Operations



Each year Winrock conducts approximately 150 projects in 65 countries. Efficient and culturally-sensitive coordination between countries, partners and offices is vital to Winrock's ability to enable lasting improvements in the communities where we work.

Through the Global Operations initiative, Winrock has hired and trained four senior-level Regional Operations Managers (ROMs) with local finance and accounting skills to work with program staff in the field.

Now, field staff in East Africa, South and Southeast Asia can contact their ROM with implementation questions and expect to receive near real-time responses.

ROMs conduct training, recruitment and proposal development in their regions. This Global Operations strategy furthers Winrock's long-standing commitment to building local capacity.
